Puma Clyde Court Disrupt Performance Review

Hi, guys, today we want to talk about Puma Clyde Court Disrupt. Although Puma Clyde Court Disrupt has been released about 1 year, but it’s the first pair of basketball shoes that PUMA return to basketball field. It’s significative.

Below is the rating:

Fit: 8 scores

Vamp Support: 7 scores

Feedback of forefoot: 6 scores

Cushion of rear sole: 8 scores

Anti-torsion Performance:8.5 scores

Traction Performance: 7.5 scores

Protection: 6 scores

Overall Supporting Performance: 8 scores

Overall Stability: 8 scores

Overall: 73 scores

Comprehensive Assessment:

Suited Court: Indoor and Outdoor. Be careful on the indoor court where has a lot of dust.

Suited Person: Heavy weight (75-100kg), the players who have strong ankle strength.

Fit: The vamp fit the foot well. If you choose the correct size, the foot won’t move.

It’s socks design, so the ankle part can also be protected well, but also not tight.

But there is a small problem with the vamp. As Jordan Diamond Low, Puma Clyde Court Disrupt will also press the toes.

The vamp fit the foot very well, but I’m unsatisfied at the fit of shoe heel.

The outboard TPU area is big. But it’s too hard, and the area is big, so the inner side can’t be filled with foam. The shoe heel can’t fit the foot very well.

The supporting performance of vamp is not good.  Although the knit strength is not bad, but as you know, knitted vamp is soft. So the strength is not good.

Due to the design of shoe laces, after fastening the shoe laces, the foot can be covered very well. Overall, the supporting strength is above average.

The insole technology of Puma Clyde Court Disrupt is Hydrid which fused the Ignite and NRG together. But the feedback of Hydrid cushion technology is not excellent.

The feeling likes the insole feedback of Air Force.

As the center of gravity is high, for the guys who is light weight, you can’t feel the cushion feedback. But if you have heavy weight, the cushion is on qualified standard.

I’m unsatisfied at the outsole. When I play on the inner court and turning, I slipped. But after cleaning it, the outsole can grip the ground well again. The traction performance of Puma Clyde Court Disrupt is good on outdoor court and clean inner court.

The anti-torsion performance is reliable. Although it doesn’t have supporting plate on insole, but as it’s thick, so the anti-torsion performance of such stiff insole is good.

For anti-rollover, the outsole has outstretched design, but it’s not obvious. But the center of gravity is high, so the anti-rollover performance is just so so.

In my opinion, Puma Clyde Court Disrupt doesn’t look like a pair of basketball shoes. It’s similar to Air Force. It’s suitable for daily dressing. If you don’t play high-strength basketball games and you have heavy weight, and you want a pair of shoes for daily dressing, Puma Clyde Court Disrupt will be suitable for you.
