Nike Lebron 14 Performance Review

While LeBron James is left to contemplate the Cleveland Cavaliers’ summer acquisitions, or lack thereof, his signature Nike LeBron 14 Low continues on with its summertime remix trajectory.For this shoes , it has  been my dream shoes .LBJ is one of the most popular NBA players, so it’s no surprise that each and every year LeBron’s signature shoe line gets huge amount of attention.So everything about James, I want to share with you.

For the box, it is just normal with black colorway.

For the material , the upper covered with foam & mesh combo with fuse overlays in high pressure areas for better lateral stability.There is a full inner sleeve for a snug fit as well as Flywire for lockdown.I like the  great flexibility, lovely comfort feel . It’s a nice addition to this model because the past models of The LeBron’s signature line had hard , for the material  it is a restricted uppers which  doesn’t restrict your natural feet movements, you are getting better transition and more enjoyable feel while playing

For the traction :The LeBron 14 gripped the floor nicely, solid move coverage and nice stopping power.but it is too stiff.Then the Nike translucent rubber is not easy to keep it .

For the  supporting : Some parts of supporting  is from the internal and external heel counters .The fuse backing is too soft to keep your forefoot in place while doing quick stops or moves.Then the midsole and outrigger lack of stability since the outrigger is rounded and not very aggressive. So maybe if you are mind it , maybe it is the best choice for you .overall, the back area of the shoe has great support but the forefoot area could be much better. it is nice .

For the cushioning :  What exactly are you getting of  the cushioning gets ? Some shoes, like Crazyquick, needed to have firmer, more flexible cushioning in order to make the shoe perform at a high level.but for the lbron14 ,Hex Zoom Air units are back again but this time the units are even larger and thicker.The LEBRON shoes  had very solid cushion systems  that we know ,but the main problem was that the Zoom Air units were encased in hard rubber. For me , the Zoom Air units were not capable to perform as they should, I can feel the great performance on the court. In this case, the LeBron 14 Air units are encased too, but now the rubber is much softer. So you are getting more powerful impact protection and big bounce, especially in the heel area. It is a firm but the cushion tooling in LeBron 14 performed better than the past LeBron 13 model.

There is a logo  on the tongue.

 

 

Overall: The best parts of  the shoe are cushion setup with great impact protection and the upper with flexible materials. then the traction is nice but a little stiff, for the supporting  , also it is great.

Nike Lebron 14 with new version witness James legend of basketball

James become one of the legendary in the sport  from his 18 year old to now  which win the champion in 2016 . That is the most inspirational in 2016 . All of fans are cry for him .as  a great champion of Cleveland’s ,  everyone  are proud of him.Nike also catch the chance to signed the lifelong contract with James ,Nike LEBRON XIV boots was released in his first year ,Now we get it .

Though Nike Lebron 14 is simply , the details is very elaborate which signed by James

 

The logo of 330 shows in the heel medial , which  is the code of Akron —the birthplace of James . He love his birthplace sincerely , also 330 logo is a part of his body which a tattoo on his shoulder.

BBZ logo is appearance in the right medial of shoes , which from nickname of  his three children .

Sphere tongue :

The inside of tongue has one logo of Akron ,also have map texture of Akron .He shows his love for his birthplace again .

James used the fabric of Sphere of Air Zoom Generation, it is amazing for that  when i touch it .though Jame 14 use the new tech and new material ,but the details of tongue show the respect for the original .

His tattoo of left shoulder also used in the shoes. ‘  PLYR No. XXIII est 1984 ’ in the left hill and ‘MDL No.XIV est 2016 ‘ in the right hill .

Here are some details as below :

1,Cushion:

Nike Lebron 14 used the Hex zoom air this time , yeah ,Hex Zoom Air returns , but this time around the units are larger than ever before.It is a great news for the fans .  The three Hex Zoom units seen above are roughly 14mm thick — that’s a huge Zoom unit.

Do you remember that KD8 , it is not soft than CP3, 10 or hyperrev2016, but will be great , they provide upon initial impact is great and since the 14mm doesn’t compress much upon foot strikes you’re able to maintain a much quicker response time between movements than you would if you sunk into the cushion.

2,Grip

The new parts of grain in the sole , it is awesome for grip , O love this parts . They allow for greater flexibility which player in the court .For me ,but if it is the super grip for the player .Sometimes it will too much block the player , especial when move quickly .

3.Durability

I just playing two games ,so about the durability is need to time to test . For me , I graduated  from school , but not playing everyday like old days , so the durability not the top option for me .

But as my experience , the  material of sole  is great .especial support the grain of sole .

4,Material

In terms of actual performance, the foam and mesh build do its job well. It’s flexible and moves well with your foot without feeling overly restrictive. If you played in theZoom Soldier 10 then it’s the exact same feeling. Some might not enjoy it as it could be too soft/flimsy for them, but I did.

Overall , The NIKE LeBron 14 is perfect,  Impact protection and overall mobility are two really great features of the shoe. Forefoot stability and overall containment upon lateral moves is something that is hopefully addressed with the Elite model.Though  traction wasn’t the best, it’ll get the job done so long as you keep it clean.

1,Hex Zoom Air

  

Since from Lebron 12, the series of Lebron have been utilized the zoom air , but there are a little difference in every generation . Lebron 14 utilize large block hex zoom air in heel than before generation ,and the forefoot is based on the force (at least should be LeBron James I often force the position) to arrange the other three small Zoom Air they are in the lateral forefoot medial, lateral, and near the arch under.

The hexagonal Zoom Air feature is very elastic, not too soft, This tech just use in the LeBron12 / 13  several  training shoes.

When i wear it play in the first time , i feel it is a little stiff . But reaction of zoom air is fast than KD 9/AJ 13 . Here is open hole in the heel , we can see the logo of Lebron James .

2,Grip well

The digi-camo pattern gripped well but there are tiny Areas that have been cored out and dust will collect in those users quickly. Keeping them clean is a must if you want to maintain grip on-court.

The rubber of rubber compound Nike tweets to use is what helped maintain traction in between wiping because it’s fairly soft and a bit tacky.Also it is will collect dust quickly.

And Lebron 14 will worn quickly if you play  basketball in the outdoor ground .but it will not destroy the rubber on your shoes within a matter of days.

3,Material

The material of vamp is slightly more complicated. Lebron 14 abandoned the material of Hyperposite,using three layer type light vamp and elastic cloth inner layer this time . there is a hole in the foam and using thin fabric in outer layer , Overall is very light .

The design of full inner shoe,seems similar to the Soldier10 , but it is very hard to wear , we need to clutch the tongue and heel of the pull ring to wear .And it is can not protect the ankle ,even though it is high version of shoes .

It is a little TPU exist, but it is not effect when we play basketball . Overall the shoes is quite decent, comfortable and breathable .

4,Exquisite details

Starting the color of the black can be said to be plain, but this pair of BHM color can be said to be shine . Straps on the hook of the Phnom Penh, gold powder,on the shoelace , the metal of shoeslace,  tongue and heel  bronzing LeBron James logo and so on, all of these have shown that LeBron 14 BHM is worth!

Overall – The LeBron 14 isn’t perfect,Traction wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t bad either; it’ll get the job done so long as you keep it clean.if want or need impact protection while still being able to move freely
