Material

The material of Adidas Marquee Boost Low is compound fabric vamp. Although it’s not better than Primeknit, but the filler of Adidas Marquee Boost Low is good, it can fit the foot well. Although the soft level is not better than Primeknit, but the compound fabric can plying-up the foot and the comfort level is good.

Cushion Performance:

Adidas Marquee Boost Low uses full-length Boost insole. You know, Boost is not new technology. It’s commonly used. For the other Boost basketball shoes that I have worn, there is no Boost basketball shoes that make me disappointed for its cushion performance. The Boost of Adidas Marquee Boost Low is not so thick as Crazy Explosive. But it’s thicker than the defender shoes like Harden Vol.3. Overall, the insole thickness of Adidas Marquee Boost Low is on the middle position of Boost Basketball shoes. The insole of Adidas Marquee Boost Low is stable. If you don’t like to move a lot, it’s ok for you. But if you like to turn and move fast, it needs times to break-in.

Traction Performance:

The outsole is classic herringbone. The traction performance is great, it can satisfy all of my request. The rubber of sole is also great.

Fit:

My normal size is US8.5. I purchased US8 for Adidas Marquee Boost Low. It’s very tight in the beginning. My forefoot is pressed. But it gets more and more comfortable. The knitted fabric of forefoot will adapt to your foot type. After break-in, it’s very suitable to me. But not everyone can buy half size smaller. It depends on the foot type.

Supporting Performance:

The insole is very flat and wide. It will be a little hard for you if you want to turn fast. But it can assure the stability. It’s built-in a anti-torsion plate. With the compound fabric, Adidas Marquee Boost Low can keep stabilizing when changing on crosswise, lengthways and slant position. The Boost of rear sole is exposed. But the Boost of forefoot sole is covered with rubber and a layer of semi-transparent rubber to avoid the deformation. As a pair of low shoes, there is no more material to cover the ankle part. If you want to be safer, you can choose the high type.

Abrasive Resistance:

The abrasive resistance of Adidas Marquee Boost Low is good at this price level. I tested it on outdoor court. The stiff of the rubber sole is good and the depth of the grain is also deep. So the abrasive resistance is good. Before purchasing it, I like to wear Air Jordan 10 and T-Mac Millennium. But now Adidas Marquee Boost Low is my first choice for outdoor court now.

Air Permeability:

The compound fabric is the main material of vamp. So the air permeability of Adidas Marquee Boost Low is below average level. The covering layer under upper. The filler on the shoe heel also can’t improve the air permeability. The ventilated holes on the shoe tongue is useless. Another problem is the upwarp part on the shoe heel rubbing the feet. So I suggest you to wear long socks. But anyway, it’s a pair of fabric low basketball shoes, it won’t be too fuggy.

Overall: Adidas Marquee Boost Low is a pair of nice basketball shoes. I love it. The overall performance is excellent. It also has good cost performance. If you are considering to buy a pair of basketball shoes recently, I recommend Adidas Marquee Boost Low.
