Only time will tell whether or not the retro will age and patina like past propositions constructed with the world renowned material, but what’s certain is that Jordan Brand continues to reimagine Peter Moore’s 37-year-old design in refreshing, compelling ways. Nylon tongues complement the toe box and mid-foot panels well, as does the “Wings” logo on the spine. Underfoot, the oft-imitated Air Jordan 1‘s traction favors a light brown makeover that rounds out the women’s shoe.
