Nike Kobe 11 Performance Review

For the Kobe 11, that is my favorite shoes since I was in high school, I’ve played in every Kobe from I to X and find it plays very most similarly to the IX . It was popular for this one . Eric Avar has adopted a low-profile design and uses  Flyknit material, which is tougher and firmer to provide better protection. The midsole still used Lunarlon in the forefoot.

Today we will take about it .

For the box ,it was simply with all black .

For the material : again the  FlyKnit used , This provides the flexibility that one expects from FlyKnit, but provides a lot of structure and support.it’s almost executed perfectly this time around. It’s not raw FlyKnit. Also the TPU used , it is nice setting up.

Id text and patterns. The text is abbreviation and bryant, the number is a birthday. It is also a coincidence that we are the same birthday, I like this design anyway.

For the traction : As usually Kobe 11 is simply but it work well. They gripped on courts is nice , but it is need in the inside of court, the performance is great. I can also tell you that the weird spine that travels down the middle of the outsole saves the shoe when traction is less than desirable. The grip performance was a surprise to me when  I went to the rubber field where I often play. Although the grip I was still dripping in the dribble. There was no skidding compared to my aj31.That section grips when the other section doesn’t. So, the more force that is applied the better that section will bite the floor. but if you are playing outside , maybe the dust will be a problem .How will you know which floors the shoes will be compatible with? There is only one way to find out, just played

The Lunarlon itself isn’t as soft as the 8 but it is amazing for 11. I was thinking to the 9 which a little harder . It’s s nice medium between the two. It also play a little lower to the ground than the 9 about as low as the 8. It work well in the court. all in all ,I like  this setting up.

I like the cushion setup in terms in fluidity and transition. For me,I’d rather have full Lunarlon or full Zoom Air. Again, both of these setups are available.though the price is higher , Some may really enjoy the combo setup ,it willl be a little bounce when you playing . Casually, I think it’s great 。

Overall , the fit to be perfect. The midfoot fits perfectly, and the tongue feels amazing when laced up tightly.

Nike Kobe IX Elite Performance Review

Nike Basketball’s design team has created the KOBE IX  What The featuring a mashup of color and graphic elements from a variety of past KOBE IX Elites which used Nike Flyknit technology to basketball for the first time, while engineering a shoe to Kobe Bryant’s exact specifications.

So today we are talking about it .

it is look so cool on the feet.

Eric Avar who the leader designer for the Kobe 9, has produced a masterpiece for the court as they continue to push the limit of the basketball shoes. For the past six years, Kobe Bryant has played in low-cut sneakers starting with the Kobe 4 back in 2008. The mamba has not played in a mid/high-cut shoe since his MVP year back in 2006-2007 in the Kobe 3’s so it’s definitely long overdue.

For the material ,Kobe IX Elite used the Flyknit, Fuse and Carbon Fiber panels are the main materials used. Flyknit is abundant throughout and backed by a very thin TPU/ Fuse which to  improve structure and support. For the reason why they use Flyknit  is  this material more durability and breathability  .Obviously basketball and running have two different styles of movement. For added security the thin layer of Fuse was put in place to ensure the structural integrity isn’t compromised during play. For me , it is nice  and I  like this material , especial for  the summer , it is nice .

For the supporting , it keeps your foot in place along the midfoot and heel which is exactly what helps support the foot upon movements. The high-collar is giving you that “support” that you want and expect telling your brain that you are protected and “trouble/injury free” when in reality, it is all a placebo effect. the supporting not only from the material , also it coming from the lockdown and fit of the sneaker.  the Nike Flyknit material that conforms to the foot offering exceptional flexibility while keeping the foot grounded on the footbed. For me , it is  not only  lightweight and flexible. I can do whatever I want to do . I gave the Kobe 9 Elite a 9.5/10 in support. it is perfect for the supporting .

The materials on the shoe are quite excellent. It is the first time that Nike has implemented Nike Flyknit technology within the sport of basketball.for me , I never owned a pair of Flyknit shoes before so I’m not sure how strong and durable it really is. but now I can feel more court feeling and this is material are durable as other materials like Hyperfuse, Foamposite, and premium leathers so I scored it a 9 out of 10.

the high collar design actually really niece .

there are the logo of the tongue .

For the traction : Traction on the Kobe 9 Elite is great . though  it is very similar to adidas Feet You Wear Technology , but it is better then other version shoes . If you’re not familiar with FYW, it is a concept in which the shoe mimics the natural motions of the foot offering great stability. for this is traction ,  It keeps you low to the ground then giving you almost a barefoot experience. You can feel a natural feeling when maneuvering that its almost as if you can feel the floor beneath your toes. Outdoor players will want to stay away from these as that thin rubber will likely wear out very quickly . The Kobe 9 traction has a very organic and natural feel to it giving you ultimate control for any type of lateral, front-to-back, and quick stops. So for those quick guards who have plenty of multi-directional movements, I like this traction ver much . it can help me a lot in the court .

for the cushioning : Kobe 9 used the full-length Nike Lunarlon which  insert to shoes  makes its return on the Kobe 9 which has several improvements. compare with the  Kobe 8 model, the Lunarlon used this year is denser and more responsive.though you can feel sink within footbed as it becomes mushy and less responsive, it’ll hold up a lot longer than the Kobe 8 , it is nice for this part .

For the grip , it also nice because of  the designer added grip to the footbed of the insert that minimizes slippage of the foot during play. it is  comfortable ride and feels like a massage while you walk in them. The cushion holds up quite well  and allowing the foot to remain close to the ground and at the same time providing a lightweight ultra-plush cushioning.you can easily swap them out for a different/ custom ride.Lunarlon is great for those who need lightweight impact protection as the force of impact is evenly dispersed throughout the shoe. so maybe you will like it if you check and compare with last  version .

Overall,  I like the Nike Kobe 9 Elite. it can offer everything I personally want and need. Excellent traction, great cushion, nice materials with a supportive yet mobile fit and support for lateral movements, and amazing color .that is perfect .
